Enable PIN-less Caller ID

Caller-ID Saved After First Call

Each time you dial into the Media Center you will be required to enter your PIN code to access your account unless you choose to enable PIN-less Authorization using the Caller-ID number sent by your phone.

The first time you dial into the PubClip Media Center, your PIN code is used to identify who you are.  After you have connected using your PIN-code at least once, the PubClip service will record the phone number you dialed in from to the authorization database.  The complete list of phone numbers which dialed into your account can be viewed on the Caller ID list, here.

Enable PIN-less Caller-ID

  1. Click "Account" on the top blue bar
  2. Select "Caller ID Access" under "Your Account" (or visit Caller ID Access)
  3. Select the phone number you would like to authorize
  4. Choose "Grant PIN-less Authorization"

Once authorization has been granted to a phone number, the next time you dial into the Media Center, your phone number will be matched against your authorization list and you will not need to enter your PIN code.

Use this feature to make mobile blogging and podcasting even easier!

Disable PIN-less Caller-ID

If you no longer trust the phone number which you previously granted PIN-less authorization to, you make revoke access by once again visiting the Caller-ID list and removing the authorization.

  1. Click "Account" on the top blue bar
  2. Select "Caller ID Access" under "Your Account" (or visit Caller ID Access)
  3. Select the phone number you would like to revoke access
  4. Choose to "Revoke PIN-less Authorization"
