How to Post to Twitter
Post to Twitter
Start by connecting to an existing Twitter account. Usually you would create an audio or video and post to Twitter manually. The PubClip Media Center, Voice Folders and Web Recorder Mini, however, allow you to create new media and have it automatically post.
To Connect to an Existing Twitter Account:
- Click the "Blog" tab
- Click "Connect to Blog Provider"
- Select "Twitter" in the "Blog Provider" field
- Click "Add Account"
- Enter your Twitter "Username" and "Password"
- Click "Save and Connect"
To Post to Twitter from the Media Center:
- Phone the PubClip Media Center recording line 469-212-0830
- When prompted, enter your PIN followed by the "#" key
(You can skip this step if you enable Caller-ID on your account.) - After you hear the phone prompts, press "2"
- Enter your blog number followed by the "#" key
- Begin recording after the beep
- To stop the recording process, simply press the "#" key or hang up.
To Manually Post to Twitter:
- Select the media file by clicking on the file name
- Click "Publish"
- Click "Publish to Blog"
- Scroll down to the "Post to Blog" section
- Select your Twitter account under the "Select Blog" field
- Fill out the necessary fields
- Click "Publish"
To Auto-Post to Twitter Using a New Folder:
- Click on the "Audio" or "Video" tab
- Click on the "New Audio Folder", "New Voice Folder" or "New Video Folder" button (on the left sidebar)
- Under the "Post to Blog or Podcast" section, select "Post to Blog"
- Select the Twitter "Blog" you want to auto-post to
- Click "Create New Folder"
To Auto-Post to Twitter Using an Existing Folder:
- Click on the "Audio" or "Video" tab
- Select the audio, voice or video folder (on the left sidebar)
- Click "Edit Folder" (under the folder)
- Under the "Post to Blog or Podcast" section, select "Post to Blog"
- Select the Twitter "Blog" you want to auto-post to
- Click "Update Folder"
Any phone recording, audio or video recorded into these folders will automatically post to your Twitter account.
